Yui Clinic" opened in November 2011.
My name is Shimabukuro, the director of the clinic. Through the experience of delivering and breastfeeding our four children, our desire for a birth that values the bond between parent and child, a birth at home, which is not found in large hospitals, grew stronger, and we decided to create such a place ourselves.
We believe that giving birth peacefully, feeling that each person giving birth is cared for, provides a sense of security in a different way than receiving medical care in a large facility.
We decided to open our clinic in a small facility with only 5 beds in order to provide an environment that "does not feel like a hospital, but is as comfortable as home". That is what we are, Yui Clinic. We want to create a place filled with blessings, where we can respond to the desire of mothers and children to be "united forever after birth. And we would like to continue our efforts to help women grow up through pregnancy and childbirth, and to support childbirth and postpartum so that they can think that their children are cute and childcare is fun.
We "Yui Clinic" think so. We value our ties with the local community and wish to contribute to the maintenance of the mental and physical health of many people in cooperation with neighboring hospitals.
